As Vice President of IREA, Erik oversees business development and operational execution, driving innovative solutions in energy resiliency through patented renewable energy technology integration. With a background in leadership within ITility, Erik spearheaded the team responsible for developing and implementing this technology. Additionally, IREA operates its own Research and Development facility and engineering prototyping facility. 

Prior to joining ITility, Erik honed his operational and business development skills at CSC, managing overseas contracts for the DoD, and at Northrop Grumman, pursuing DoD opportunities. 

With a 20-year career as an Infantry officer, including combat experience, Erik brings extensive leadership expertise to his role. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the United States Military Academy’s Department of Environmental Engineering. 

Erik holds a BS from the United States Military Academy and an MA from the University of Nebraska.
